THE NEW SYSTEM OF THE CITE IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE 2018 FINANCE BILL
Established by article 3 of the finance law for 2015, the tax credit for energy transition (CITE), allows you to benefit from a single rate of tax reduction of 30%, without means test, as part of work to improve efficiency energy realized in the main house.
Following recent announcements from the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition and most recently from the Finance Commission of the National Assembly, the rate for windows and glass walls, initially 30%, would be maintained in 2018 with an adjustment measures to improve its effectiveness.
PRIORITY TO EFFICIENT JOINERY
Until now the tax credit was based on a percentage calculated on the cost of the supply. The SNEP offers today a new system that favors solutions that meet the challenges of sustainable building both technically, thermal, acoustic & ecological. The installation of these devices must be carried out with products conforming to standards & regulations in force & carried out by qualified RGE installers.
The principle is simple: a fixed amount of 100 euros would be granted for the replacement of any single-glazed window with dimension greater than 1 m² & meeting the criteria of the most efficient windows (Uw ≤ 1.3 W / m2K).
Attractive for households, this redevelopment would also allow the State to achieve very significant savings.
For Yann de Bénazé, President of the SNEP “The CITE would thus be reoriented towards less expensive devices & displaying the best cost / energy efficiency ratio. This would amount to favoring accessible & effective products, which go in the direction of the objectives set out by the Sustainable Building roadmap, by helping to fight against energy poverty & strained thermal efficiency.
